Best time to Trek: Travelling to Mount Everest has its on-peak and off-peak seasons
For ordinary tourists, the golden season to take a Mt. Everest tour would be in April, May, early-June, September and October, and early November. At these times of the year, the skies are clearer, with very few days where visibility is even slightly limited

On this trek, you will trek to the foothills of the Everest, the world’s highest mountain.
You will be trekking in some of the challenging treks like Kala Pattar, Nangkartshang Peak, and Everest Base Camp.

Visit the ancient Thami and Tengboche monasteries and investigate the beauty of the Sherpa village.

Day 01 :

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300 m / 4,300 ft)

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. Spend the day resting or exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02 :

Drive to Ramechaap → Fly to Lukla → Trek to Phakding

Altitude:

Lukla: 2,800 m / 9,200 ft
Phakding: 2,600 m / 8,500 ft
Trek Distance: 7 km | 4–5 hours

Drive early morning to Ramechaap for the short yet adventurous mountain flight to Lukla. After landing at one of the world’s most exciting airstrips, begin your trek through pine forests and small Sherpa settlements to reach Phakding.
Note: Lukla flights are often delayed due to weather. Keep 3–4 buffer days.

Day 03 :

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Altitude:

Phakding: 2,600 m / 8,500 ft
Namche Bazaar: 3,500 m / 11,500 ft
Trek Distance: 10 km | 7 hours

Follow the Dudh Koshi River, cross high suspension bridges, and climb steadily through dense forests until you reach Namche Bazaar—Khumbu’s major trading hub and a lively Sherpa town.

Day 04 :

Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

Use this day to acclimatize to higher altitudes. Explore the Sherpa Museum, Everest View Hotel for panoramic mountain views, and the buzzing local market. Overnight in Namche.

Day 05 :

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Altitude:

Namche: 3,500 m / 11,500 ft
Tengboche: 3,900 m / 12,700 ft
Trek Distance: 11 km | 5–6 hours

Enjoy scenic mountain views en route. The trail leads to Tengboche, home to the largest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region, offering spiritual calm and stunning views of Ama Dablam and Everest.

Day 06 :

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche

Altitude:

Tengboche: 3,900 m / 12,700 ft
Dingboche: 4,300 m / 14,200 ft
Trek Distance: 12 km | 6–7 hours

Descend through forests and later walk along open valleys with fabulous views of Ama Dablam. Reach the beautiful village of Dingboche, surrounded by farmland and high peaks.

Day 07 :

Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Spend a relaxed day resting or take short hikes to prepare your body for higher altitudes. Enjoy excellent views of Lhotse, Makalu, and Island Peak.

Day 08 :

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche

Altitude:

Dingboche: 4,300 m / 14,200 ft
Lobuche: 4,900 m / 16,200 ft
Trek Distance: 6 km | 4–5 hours

Walk through the rocky terrain and visit the Everest Memorial, built in honor of climbers who lost their lives on Everest. Continue to Lobuche for overnight stay.

Day 09 :

Trek to Gorakshep → Visit Everest Base Camp

Altitude:

Gorakshep: 5,200 m / 17,000 ft
Everest Base Camp: 5,400 m / 17,700 ft

Distances:

Lobuche → Gorakshep: 6 km | 3–4 hours
Gorakshep → EBC → Gorakshep: 6 km round trip | 2 hours one way

Trek over glacial terrain to reach Gorakshep, your last settlement before Everest Base Camp. After a short break, continue to Everest Base Camp, standing at the foot of the world’s highest mountain. Return to Gorakshep for overnight stay.

Day 10 :

Hike to Kalapatthar → Trek to Pangboche

Altitude:

Kalapatthar: 5,500 m / 18,200 ft
Pangboche: 3,900 m / 12,800 ft

Distances:

Gorakshep → Kalapatthar → Gorakshep: 4 km round | 3–4 hours
Gorakshep → Pangboche: 19 km | 7–8 hours

Start early to hike to Kalapatthar, the best viewpoint for sunrise over Mt. Everest. After capturing the iconic views, retrace your steps and trek down to the peaceful village of Pangboche.

Day 11 :

Trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar

Altitude:

Pangboche: 3,900 m / 12,800 ft
Namche: 3,500 m / 11,500 ft
Trek Distance: 14 km | 6–7 hours

Descend along the familiar trail and return to Namche Bazaar. Spend your evening shopping for souvenirs or enjoying warm cafés.

Day 12 :

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phakding to Lukla

Altitude:

Namche: 3,500 m / 11,500 ft
Phakding: 2,600 m / 8,500 ft
Lukla: 2,800 m / 9,200 ft
Trek Distance: 16 km | 7–8 hours

Make the final descent of your Everest trek through forests and suspension bridges before reaching Lukla. Celebrate the completion of your journey.

Day 13 :

Fly Back to Ramechaap → Drive to Kathmandu

After breakfast, board the scenic mountain flight back to Ramechaap and drive onward to Kathmandu. Your Everest Base Camp adventure concludes here.
