Day 01 :

Delhi – Dibrugarh

Depart from Delhi by flight to Dibrugarh, the gateway to Upper Assam. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Briefing about the expedition and preparation for the journey ahead.

Overnight stay in Dibrugarh.

Day 02 :

Dibrugarh – Pasighat

After breakfast, travel to Pasighat, the oldest town in Arunachal Pradesh, located on the banks of the Siang River.

This scenic drive introduces you to the lush greenery, rolling hills, and riverside landscapes of Northeast India.

Overnight stay at Pasighat.

Day 03 :

Pasighat – Siang River – Tuting

Travel upstream along the Siang River toward Tuting, near the Indo-China border. Parts of the journey involve river crossings by ferry and rugged mountain roads.

The dramatic terrain signals the beginning of the expedition zone.

Day 04 :

Tuting – Acclimatization & Preparation

A full day at Tuting for acclimatization, equipment checks, and safety training.

Meet your river guides, learn paddling techniques, river signals, and rescue protocols.

This day ensures everyone is physically and mentally prepared for the intense rafting ahead.

Day 05 :

Tuting – Pango (Rafting Begins)

The rafting expedition officially begins today. Launch your rafts on the upper stretches of the Siang River.

Encounter your first set of powerful rapids, setting the tone for the journey.

Day 06 :

Pango – Cherring

Today’s rafting stretch introduces a series of challenging rapids and long turbulent runs.

Navigate through massive river channels surrounded by thick forests and steep mountain walls.

Set up camp at Cherring, a remote riverside location.

Overnight camping.

Day 07 :

Cherring – Alubadi

Continue rafting through intense whitewater sections interspersed with calmer stretches.

The river volume increases, offering a true sense of the Brahmaputra’s raw power.

Camp overnight at Alubadi under open skies.

Day 08 :

Alubadi – Geku

A long and demanding rafting day featuring multiple Grade IV and V rapids such as Hairy Hari, Broken Oar, and Zebra Rock.

Arrive at Geku, a remote settlement deep in the Siang valley.

Overnight camping near the village.

Day 09 :

Geku – Rest & Exploration Day

A rest day at Geku to recover from continuous paddling.

Explore nearby villages, interact with local communities, or relax by the riverbank.

This day helps regain strength before the final rafting stretch.

Day 10 :

Geku – Rotung

Resume rafting downstream as the river begins to widen and gain even more volume.

The rapids become longer and more powerful, requiring teamwork and precision.

Camp overnight near Rotung.

Day 11 :

Rotung – Pasighat (Final Rafting Day)

The final and most dramatic rafting stretch begins today.

Negotiate the legendary Pongging Punch, the last major rapid of the expedition.

As the river flows into the plains near Pasighat, the current softens, marking the end of the rafting journey.

Disembark and transfer to a rest house at Pasighat.

Overnight stay in Pasighat.

Day 12 :

Pasighat – Dibrugarh – Delhi

After breakfast, drive back to Dibrugarh and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Delhi.

The expedition concludes with unforgettable memories of one of the world’s greatest river adventures.
