Day 01 :

Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization Day

Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be warmly received by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. As Leh is located at an altitude of approximately 3,500 meters above sea level, the entire day is reserved for acclimatization to help your body adjust to the high altitude.

In the evening, enjoy a gentle walk through Leh Bazaar, where you can explore local shops, cafés, and soak in the calm mountain atmosphere.

Day 02 :

Leh Monasteries Excursion

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day monastery tour showcasing Ladakh’s rich Buddhist heritage. Begin with an early visit to Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Ladakh, where you can witness the serene morning prayer ceremony.

Continue to Hemis Monastery, the most famous and wealthiest monastery in the region, known for its spiritual significance and stunning setting. On the return journey, stop at Shey Palace, the former royal residence offering panoramic views of the Indus Valley.

Day 03 :

Leh – Chumathang – Tsomoriri Lake (Approx. 240 km)

After breakfast, depart by road towards Tsomoriri Lake, one of Ladakh’s most remote and pristine high-altitude lakes. En route, stop at Upshi for the mandatory checkpoint, then continue via Karu towards Chumathang.

Chumathang is famous for its natural hot springs, traditionally believed to have medicinal properties. From Mahe Bridge, the main entry checkpoint, the terrain becomes rugged, adding to the adventure.

Pass through Sumdah Village, and after a scenic drive, arrive at Tsomoriri Lake, a breathtaking wetland sanctuary and an important breeding ground for migratory birds such as bar-headed geese, Brahminy ducks, and brown-headed gulls.

Day 04 :

Tsomoriri – Korzok Village & Lake Exploration

After breakfast, visit Korzok Village, a small high-altitude settlement situated near the lake. The Korzok Monastery (Gompa) stands dramatically against the stark landscape, while the surrounding barley fields are considered among the highest cultivated lands in the world.

In the afternoon, explore the shores of Tsomoriri Lake, enjoying its changing colors, birdlife, and tranquil atmosphere.

Day 05 :

Tsomoriri – Puga Valley – Tsokar – Tanglang La – Leh

After early breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh via a spectacular high-altitude route. Drive towards Mahe Village, where the road diverts towards Puga Valley, famous for its geothermal activity with steaming vents and sulfur deposits.

Continue to Tsokar Lake, also known as the “White Lake,” via Polokongka Pass (13,500 ft). The region is known for sightings of Tibetan wild asses (Kiang) and migratory birds. Visit Thukje Monastery if time permits.

Join the Leh–Manali Highway and ascend Tanglang La Pass (5,350 meters), one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Descend towards Leh, arriving by evening.

Day 06 :

Indus River Rafting Experience

After breakfast, proceed for an exciting white-water rafting experience on the Indus River, starting from Phey to Nimu. This stretch offers a perfect balance of adventure and scenic beauty, suitable for both beginners and experienced rafters.

Enjoy a hot lunch by the banks of the Indus River, surrounded by dramatic Ladakhi landscapes. Return to Leh in the afternoon and relax.

Day 07 :

Leh – Khardung La Pass – Leh (Approx. 85 km)

After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads, located at approximately 5,600 meters. The pass offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks and the surrounding mountain ranges.

Spend time at the top enjoying the scenery and capturing memorable photographs before descending back to Leh.

Departure from Leh
