Birding Tour In Kaziranga

Upon arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour representative. After a short briefing about the tour, you will embark on a scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park, passing through lush tea gardens, rural Assamese villages, and gently rolling landscapes.

Check in at your wildlife resort or eco-lodge, unwind, and refresh. In the evening, enjoy a short guided nature walk around the resort to spot your first local bird species and get acquainted with the flora of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Later, drive to Cherrapunjee to seek the Dark-rumped Swift and other high-altitude species. Explore scenic waterfalls, viewpoints, and trails while continuing birding activities along the route.

After breakfast, depart for Guwahati via the Old Shillong–Guwahati Road, a route known for excellent roadside birding opportunities. Stop at wetlands, vantage points, and forest edges to photograph and identify local species.

Upon arrival in Guwahati, visit Khubari Market, a unique habitat for the critically endangered Greater Adjutant Stork. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
