Day 01 :

Manali – Jobra → Chika Camp

The trek begins with a short journey from Manali to Jobra, the starting point of your adventure. From Jobra, the trail leads through lush pine and rhododendron forests, alongside babbling streams, and gradually ascends to reach Chika Camp. The campsite, set amid quiet Himalayan surroundings, is perfect for relaxing and acclimatizing to the mountain environment.

Day 02 :

Chika Camp – Balu Ka Ghera

Today’s trek takes you deeper into the mountains as the trail passes through open slopes and vibrant meadows. You climb gradually while enjoying views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Balu Ka Ghera is a picturesque campsite set amid rolling hills, offering a peaceful retreat where you can soak in the beauty of the Himalayas

Day 03 :

Balu Ka Ghera – Shea Goru via Hampta Pass

This is the highlight of the trek. You begin by ascending towards the Hampta Pass, a high mountain pass that offers spectacular panoramic views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. The trail is challenging but rewarding, with snow patches and rocky terrain adding to the adventure. After crossing the pass, the scenery changes dramatically as you descend into the barren, otherworldly landscapes of Lahaul, ending the day at Shea Goru Camp, surrounded by mountains and open valleys.

Day 04 :

Shea Goru – Chhatru → Chandratal Lake Excursion

The trek resumes with a gentle path to Chhatru, a scenic meadow campsite. From here, you can take an optional excursion to Chandratal Lake, famous for its crystal-clear waters that mirror the surrounding snow-clad peaks. Day 05 :

Chhatru – Manali via Atal Tunnel

The trek concludes as you make your way back to Manali. The journey passes through stark Lahaul landscapes, giving a final glimpse of the rugged mountains before entering the famous Atal Tunnel, connecting Lahaul with Kullu Valley. Arrival in Manali marks the end of the trek, leaving you with unforgettable memories of scenic beauty, adventure, and Himalayan tranquility.
